Turn your text into a social media post
Writing the caption is one step. The complete post also needs its format, media, destination and publishing action. Here is how to carry the text through.
To turn text into a social media post, decide what the reader should understand or do, adapt the text to a format, attach the required media and choose the destination account. Then save a draft, schedule it or publish. A good caption in a chat window is useful; it still needs those publishing details.
Blitz Planner gives you two starting points. Add finished text directly in the editor, or give Copilot your idea and develop an editable post.
Keep the actual point of the text
Take this illustrative note: “We added transparent PNG export. Shop owners can use the result on their own backgrounds.” The post’s point is a specific export option and a use case. It does not need a bigger claim about growth or creativity.
Before asking AI to expand it, mark the facts that must remain, anything that is confidential and the action the reader can take. If the text is already clear, keep it and spend your effort on the visual.
Decide whether the idea should be read or watched
| Intended result | Starting format | What is still needed |
|---|---|---|
| Announce one change | Short text or caption | A screenshot if the change is visual |
| Teach several checks | Carousel | Finished slide text and images |
| Show a sequence | Video script | Footage, voice or captions |
| Illustrate a situation | Faceless or generated video | A reviewed script and a media-production step |
Choose the network before treating a format as publishable. A text suitable for LinkedIn does not become an Instagram or TikTok post without compatible media. A YouTube destination needs video.
Give Copilot a bounded writing request
Turn this note into one post for [audience] on [network]. Keep these facts: [facts]. The reader should [action]. Use my tone: [sample]. Prepare the caption and the visual or spoken text needed for the chosen format. Ask if essential information is missing. Show the editable result before creating a draft.
If you need a revision, describe the actual change: “Keep the first sentence, remove the sales claim, and show the export in slide two.” That gives the assistant a clearer task than “make it engaging.”
Move the copy into a complete post
Check the preview, add or create the media and select the connected accounts. Read captions and slide text at the size a phone will show them. For video, inspect the audio as well as the image.
In the manual editor, you can bring your own copy and media without using AI. In the assisted flow, an editable proposal is still a proposal until you save the intended version.
Choose the publishing action explicitly
Use a draft when the media or account is undecided. Schedule only after confirming the date, time and timezone. Publish now only when the preview is final. Check the result for each destination in publishing history.
If one destination fails, keep the successful posts and correct that destination’s issue before retrying. Completing the workflow means a post has reached the intended account, not merely that the text has been written.
